بالاترین تعداد توریست ترکیه در سال ۲۰۱۴ بود که به حدود ۴۲ میلیون رسید نفر و در سال ۲۰۱۵ به ۳۶ میلیون نفر تقلیل یافت و پس از آن نیز به علت کشمکش با روسیه و عملیات تروریستی تقلیل بیشتری یافت.
