Cedars-Sinai Alumni Association is honored to present the
HONORABLE NASIMI AGHAYEV, Consul General of Azerbaijan
in Los Angeles and Dean of the Los Angeles Consular Corps.

Consul General Aghayev will discuss World War II and Hitler's battle for Azerbaijan's oilfields. He will also introduce the acclaimed National Geographic documentary "OBJECTIVE BAKU: HITLER'S BATTLE FOR OIL" which explores the strategic importance of Azerbaijan's energy resources during the USSR's war with Hitler Germany and the valiant battle waged by the Azerbaijani people to defend Baku's oilfields.

The discussion is pegged to the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad that marked a decisive turn in the World War II. We honor the estimated 80 million people who lost their lives to Hitler's "Thousand-Year Plan"

Following a Q&A session and intermission with refreshments,
"OBJECTIVE BAKU: HITLER'S BATTLE FOR OIL" will be screened.
